These dudes aren’t true fans. No true fan of the Jets; someone who truly respects the organization; would ever be caught Tebowing. It’s a mimicking act. Why would you be doing it unless you were mocking the team?

The Jets accomplished exactly what they set out to do by acquiring God’s second son: They’ve captured the back page of newspapers, they’ve injected “on-the-fence” fans with Gang Green, they’ll sell PSL’s, but they failed to listen to their existing fan-base.
