Beltran signs with the Cardinals
Am I going to have to see this picture everyday for the next two years?
Pending a physical, Carlos Beltran will be a St. Louis Cardinal. He will receive a 2 year 26 million dollar deal, a no trade clause and a giant thank you for 2006.
I never been to St. Louis but I am sure there are pictures all over the stadium of Beltran wiffing in 2006. It is going to have be hard for him to see that everyday. Just thinking about it makes me sick, granted that curve was absolutely ridiculous but in that situation YOU HAVE TO SWING. Ugh life as a Met fan I guess.
The best scenario I can think of is Cardinals vs. Marlins, Beltran vs. Reyes, and they both pull their hamstrings. Mets fans luck, David Wright will be watching the game and get hurt somehow. I don’t know how but believe me it would happen.
