Buffalo gets bucked again!
Last night New York stuck it to their neighbors to the north for the second time this week, as the Islanders defeated the Buffalo Sabres 2-1. The game marks the second straight win for Long Island’s Finest and puts them a mere 2 points out from being last in the Eastern Conference.

If this isn’t a sign of hope, I don’t know what is.
The Sabres loss comes as the second straight defeat for the great city of Buffalo in just 3 days. Earlier this week the Bills came up short to the New York Jets, literally, at the hands of Stevie Johnson. On the bright side, Buffalo still has Niagara Falls and a stronghold on the chicken wing market. Maybe one year these two great cities could battle over the naming rights to the king of all bar foods. New York Wings anyone?
